A couple of friends have started blogs here on WordPress so I thought I would too. Now I just have to figure out what I want to do here.
If you are passing through please stop awhile and say hello.
The various categories I’ve listed here should give you an idea of my personal interests.
Just checking out my avatar.

Welcome to wordpress. If you are unsure what to write about I suggest you start by expanding your first post. Start with something like:
I’m not sure what I want to write about, but these categories interest me:
category one (write a bit about it)
category two (write a bit about it)
etcetera.
I find this causes an explosion of thoughts and ideas and you’ll have 1000 words written in no time!
Hope this helps.
The scientifically impossible I do right away
The spiritually miraculous takes a bit longer

Hi ClapSo,
I put lots of categories in my first post to attract some attention, but you’re right that it needs some follow-up and expansion.
I was primarily interested in seeing who was interested in some of the same topics.
But now I must sleep so I’ll tackle this in the morning. I’ll also have a better look around your place, which looks very interesting.

Evocative of religiously inculcated guilt….

Who me???

‘mea culpa’ ‘my fault’
‘mea culpa’ ‘ibid’
‘mea maxima culpa’ ‘my most grevious fault’
Punctuated by symbolic blows to the chest, or, more piously, with a self-wielded scourge…
Or like the flagellant monks in Monty Python’s Holy Grail…

Oh, that!
On the other hand it’s a play on words using my own first name along with my insistance that it isn’t really my fault.
Trust me, you grow up RC and a woman then just about everything is your fault!

Yes. I got it. Hence –>
That whole religious guilt trip reliably makes me laugh!
One summer I was fortunate to briefly observe a real-life version of one of Monty Python’s flagellant monks.
Hilarious, yet disturbing despite the comedic aspects
I consider myself fortunate to live in a country where religiously-inspired self-flagellation is rarely a public affair

That’ll be because the parka would spoil the effect.
